10" marbled pink, single press, 400 only, hand stamped, hand numbered and no digital. Avanti pops his Porn Wax cherry dishing up two slices of dark cosmic funk. First up, 'Cabezaurio' chugs along on a lilting zero gravity groove before letting loose with some flanged guitar work and space age synths. The guitar heroics take their lead from Pink Floyd or Tangerine Dream and the sci fi synth work brings the gloom of Goblin or John Carpenter to mind. This is a very handy slice of bass driven chugging funk for pitch black dancefloors. On the flip 'Dark Funk' does exactly what it says on the tin. Initially slightly softer than the A side with a bouncey Mediterranean vibe, just wait until the muscular lead guitar on this number blows you out of your seat. Once again the label with the blushing pink vinyl gives up the goods with drugged out chuggy rhythms ready for the Adriatic dancefloors.
