Thanks to the Spice Girls, my love for England/all things British began when I was eleven years old! My parents helped me achieve my goal of studying abroad in England during the summer of 2006 and it was definitely the highlight of my UCI experience. I've been wanting to go back ever since but for one reason or another, I never made it back to the UK. After coming home from a horrible date, I put on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and browsed Reddit (normal Saturday night, am I right??). Meeting Rupert Grint popped into my mind so I checked to see if he was planning to attend any Comic Con events in 2025. As luck would have it, he was scheduled to be at the Liverpool Comic Con on 11/9/24 so I booked my flight/hotel rooms and started putting together my travel itinerary that night! Meeting Rupert Grint was the push I needed to finally plan and experience my #1 bucket list trip to the UK.
