Eurowings Airbus A320 visual approach and smooth landing on a hazy day on runway 05 at Funchal Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport (FNC / LPMA) on Madeira Island in Portugal. ATC callsign is Eurowings 1BZ (Eurowings One Bravo Zulu). During the manual flying part of the approach, there is a special focus on the sidestick of the captain as pilot flying. The first officer in the right seat is the pilot monitoring. Due to missing space at the airport property, parts of the runway had been built like a bridge which is supported by 180 concrete columns.
