It turns out that humanity may not be ready for a scientific breakthrough capable of destroying the foundation that supports the understanding of the structure of the surrounding world. The protagonist of the fantastic detective story "Antimatter" - a talented and inquisitive graduate student at a prestigious university - has to prove this. Anna graduated from Oxford and is currently working on her dissertation. One day she is fascinated by the theory that the years are like layers lying on top of each other, so they can be "pierced", it is enough just to find a way to open a time tunnel. The girl is engaged in research with two other graduate students. Together, they create a device with the help of which they make a breakthrough: objects under the beam emitted by the invention disappear and move in space. To understand what exactly happens to the test samples, Anna decides to test the device on herself. After turning on the device, the missing heroine disappears. Only Nate and Liv remain in the room, and their girlfriend is transported to another part of the city.
