My fan collector friends Rick (Rickster the Fan Man) and Stewart went to an estate and sighted this olive green Kenmore Magicord Powermate canister vacuum. They knew I was into vacuums like this and I told them this era of power head was one I was looking for a time for. When I was a kid under 10 years old I sighted this model in my neighbors garage and saw it also stored in her basement too. Hers was two tone teal instead of olive green and had a two speed toggle switch on the front. I asked her about it while trying it out and she told me she used it for the cars and cobb webs in the basement since the power head long died and failed out and she long tossed it. I wondered at the time what type of design the power head had since there was no internet at the time to look this sort of thing up.
