This is a timelapse video of 3 hours 15minutes, 1 frame a second. Showing the focus drift from cold to really warm on my Sony 590ES projector. (IT ACTUALLY LOOKS WORSE IN REAL LIFE) It should stop drift after 30-40 minutes (about 1 minute of the video) (this is the memory save) 50 seconds is about 25-30minutes, still ok focus. 1 min 45 sec is about 45-50 minutes 3 minutes is about 95 minutes 5 minutes is about 2 hours 20 minutes 6.55 end is after 3 hours 15 minutes (yeah i'm bad at math ) ;) It does this no matter how it is placed. I have tried standing upright on a shelf, upside down on shelf, and hanging in the roof. It actually gets a little worse in the roof. Also tried rising the temperature in my room from 19c to 23c.. no difference. If i save at 1 hour, i get sucky focus the first hour. And then gradually worse again. If i save at 90 minutes, it get even worse focus the first hour. And then worse again as it drifts past. One weird thing also is: i have mounted the camera on a tripod, it stands on concrete floor in a basement. I was not in the room for 3 hours. In spite of that the picture seems to be moving around. But what i know there is no function to move picture to prevent burn-ins on a projector. And i don't think there is one in my mediaplayer (Dune pro vision 4k solo).
