Røyenymfa (the Arctic char nymph)

I have chosen to name this pattern Røyenymfa (the Arctic char nymph), as I do not know the original name of the fly. It was first introduced to me by a customer who asked if I could replicate it. He primarily used the fly for ice fishing for Arctic char in the Femundsmarka area. I tied several additional flies for my own testing, and the results have been very positive. The fly has proven effective in both summer and winter conditions, performing equally well under the ice and in open water. For this reason, it has earned a permanent place in my fly box.
