We will rebuild and recover. We are strong, #HoustonStrong. To think that this just happened last week. Felt hopeless during the storm so I did what I do best. I grabbed my gear and documented the next four days. I hope this video can bring more awareness on the amount of relief we need here. We need all the help to rebuild and recover this great city of Houston. I also hope to shed some light and hope during this time of recovery. You are not alone, we are all in this together. No matter how threatening Hurricane Harvey was or how much we could lose so much in the next few days, my entire neighborhood did their best to stay optimistic. There was not much else we could do but continue to watch the water rise above some of the near by houses down the street. We were all expecting the worst so why not make the most out of it and show we are stronger than this. Very thankful to have amazing neighbors that took care of each other. Grateful that some of us were able to escape with a dry house yet still very heartbroken for those who weren’t fortunate. A major salute to every single first responder that did more than they could during this time of need and to the thousands of brave volunteers especially to those that came outside of Houston. We can not thank you guys enough. Special shoutout to Joseph​ who openly welcomed about 40 evacuees to stay at his Tae Kwon Do place for 4 days. They were also able to get a huge amount of donations all over that was eventually shipped out to other shelters out to Port Arthur and Sealy Texas. You sir and to those who have been there to help him have amazing hearts. Blessed to have these kind of people in my life. Thank you everyone and to the Rock Solid Tae Kwon-Do​ team. Thanks to all my friends and family who continuously checked up on us during those days. We are blessed to say that all of us are safe.
