"Iftar" With My Muslim Brothers & Sisters ll

The Sharaf Mahama Foundation, on Friday 5th April 2024, joined the Islamic community of the Okaikwei Central Constituency, Greater Accra Region to observe Iftar. The event was preceded by a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam of Ghana, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, at his residence, to seek his counsel and prayers. Mr. Sharaf Mahama, founder of the Sharaf Mahama Foundation, underscored the importance of supporting Iftar. “Our Muslim brothers and sisters have been interceding on behalf of our nation during Ramadan. It is only prudent we join them break the fast, especially on a sacred day like this”, he stated. “One of our foremost objectives as a foundation is to promote peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance within Ghanaian communities”, he added. This year’s event was organized in partnership with Hon. Baba Sadiq, NDC parliamentary candidate for the Okaikwei central constituency.
