The planet fought back with dense, brief sandstorms that reduced mobility and greatly reduced visibility for everyone, roving Shriekers overhead, and complex stratagem plotting increasing call-in time by 50%. On top of that, Phact Bay can’t decide what temperature it wants—periods of intense heat increased stamina drain and sped up weapon heat buildup, while periods of extreme cold reduced rate of fire and delayed heat buildup. Absolute nonsense. I ran the AR-2 Coyote and wore the BP-77 Grand Juror heavy set for 25% chest damage resistance, 25% explosive resistance, and protection from bleeding if chest hemorrhages. Stratagems were Eagle 500kg Bomb, Orbital Gatling Barrage, LAS-99 Quasar Cannon, and the LIFT-850 Jump Pack. This was a five-star run. We trekked across the dusty desert terrain, using dunes and cover to our advantage while smashing the guts out of anything that crawled. Bug holes got sealed, side objectives got cleared as we passed them, and the bugs stayed plentiful and angry the entire time. Still, we pushed through, held our ground when the sandstorms rolled in, and extracted successfully—leaving Phact Bay covered in dead, burning bugs. Recorded through a capture card onto a dedicated PC. Played on an RTX 5090 and i7-14700K in cinematic 4K with ultra settings (shown at the beginning of every video). MSI Afterburner is always running to monitor the hardware. This is the beta slim version of HD2—less space, same graphics.
