The lead single, Battery Man, was a solid club hit and went on to become an enduring favourite on Irish dancefloors. The follow up, The Cure and the Cause, was brilliantly remixed by Dennis Ferrer, licensed by Defected Records and, well, you probably know the rest. To mark the two decades since the release of Lil’ Hand, Greg and Shane have revisited the album’s closing track, Love’s Cloth, framing Tracey’s beautiful vocal in a radically different light and emphasising the rich harmonies of the chorus. Rooted by an insistent, pulsing bass groove, the song builds to a sweeping crescendo before exiting with a nod to the original’s darker outro. The dub version ventures further into the shadows, with ripping synth stabs and dislocated vocal fragments swapping turns over a deep, driving rhythm.
