Stumbled upon this song in tiktok and reading the lyrics, it reminded me of wen yifan. The bravest and strongest woman in modern cdrama that i have watched. Imagine experiencing all those things growing up. Trying all her best to survive despite the world being so cruel to her. The mother who was supposed to love and protect her abandoned her, ignored her plea for help and then later she acted so affectionate with her, acted as if nothing happened, really makes me wanted to throw up. She was one of the worst character i had met after years of watching cdrama. The worst and also one of the most realistic one. Everything about this story was so wonderfully written. It was so realistic. Its heartbreaking how women really experience this kind of thing. Forced to shut their mouth in order to escape from shame, ruin of family name and honor. And then become a prisoner of trauma. For all the Wen Yifan out there. Dont give up. There will come a time where light will brighten your dark world. Survive and live.
