In this video we’ll drive you through The Death Valley National Park, discover the best views, try the flavours of desert in a local restaurant, visit the lowest point below sea level in the US - and even camp in our Jeep - in the middle of the desert.  Death Valley National Park is a land of extremes, known for its scorching temperatures and stunning, diverse landscapes. You can visit here Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level, where you can walk on expansive salt flats that stretch endlessly across the desert. For panoramic views, head to Dante’s View, perched 5,475 feet above the valley floor, offering breathtaking sights from Badwater Basin to Telescope Peak, especially at sunset or for stargazing. Zabriskie Point is a must-visit for its colorful badlands, with the best time to visit being at sunrise when the hues are most vibrant. Don’t miss the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes near Stovepipe Wells, where you can climb the rolling dunes for perfect sunset or sunrise photos. Artist’s Palette along Artist’s Drive features vivid volcanic and sedimentary hills, best seen in the late afternoon when the colors are most striking. The eerie and rugged Devil’s Golf Course, with its jagged salt formations, looks like something from another planet and is great for photography. For something volcanic, check out Ubehebe Crater, a massive volcanic depression you can hike around or down into, for a geological spectacle. For a more intimate view of Death Valley’s badlands, drive the 2.5-mile unpaved road through Twenty Mule Team Canyon, or explore Mosaic Canyon’s narrow slot canyons with smooth, polished marble walls for a geologist’s dream hike. These sights together offer a glimpse into the surreal beauty and extremes that define Death Valley.
