Kuta, Bali. Wednesday, 29 October 2025. The weather in Bali has been quite unpredictable lately — sunny one minute, rainy the next. During this walk, we had to open and close our umbrellas several times as light showers came and went. We started our walk at the Ground Zero Monument, a historic landmark in the heart of Kuta, then made our way through Poppies Lane 2, one of the most iconic alleyways in Bali filled with small shops, guesthouses, and local life. From there, we entered Beachwalk Mall through its back entrance — a modern beachfront shopping complex that offers a mix of international brands and tropical ambience. As we stepped out to Kuta Beach, the rain had left the sand almost empty. Still, a few tourists could be seen enjoying their walks, taking photos, and soaking in the peaceful post-rain atmosphere. Even on a rainy day, Kuta has its own charm — a mix of nostalgia, local life, and the ever-present sound of waves.
