Welcome to Tulane Urology Residency Program. We have over a century of experience in teaching. However, the teaching methodology has changed with advanced technology. Our faculty, which actually forms the core of any teaching, are all fellowship trained and have advanced skills. Whether it is robotic surgery, which we were the first to introduce in the gulf south, prosthetic surgery, laparoscopy, or indulgence in research, we have what it takes to provide you with the right environment and the right challenges to make you the best you can be upon graduation. Our hospitals are all state of the art. Besides Tulane University Hospital and Clinic, our residents rotate through University Medical Center which was the former Charity Hospital. We have a brand new VA Hospital as well as a full service Children's Hospital. With advanced technology in each of these hospitals, including robotics, laparoscopes, nephroscopes, advanced MRI imaging, we provide the perfect environment for your clinical training as well as research opportunity. We have two full time Ph.Ds who will be available if that is what is needed to get you to the next level.
