The Peace Palace in The Hague houses two courts: the Permanent Court of Arbitration and the International Court of Justice of the United Nations. There are several impressive halls in the Peace Palace for the various cases, hearings, and activities, but the most distinctive are surely the Small Courtroom of the Permanent Court of Arbitration and the Great Hall of Justice of the International Court of Justice. In cooperation with both courts, the Carnegie Foundation, owner and manager of the Peace Palace, has produced short documentaries about the two courtrooms. This documentary on the Small Courtroom offers a detailed insight into the room's interior, as well as a brief overview of the activities and cases handled by the Permanent Court of Arbitration.
