"Vocare" is Latin for the work a person is called by God to do. Whether that work is in an office, a warehouse, at home, or in vocational ministry, we believe all ethical work is good, God-honoring work. Throughout the year we will be sharing stories of how individuals honor God in the work they do everyday. In this video, we are focusing on the work done within the realm of aesthetics and design, referred to as "The Beautiful" endowment. People who work within this vocation bring beauty to the world through arts and thoughtful design. They remind us of the work and intention of our creative God. We're featuring Nancy Friesen, an artist in our community who has used her gifts in sculpture and fiber arts to reflect the beauty around her. She also uses her wonderful gifts to adorn our church and clergy. *** Church of the Redeemer is a part of The Anglican Church in North America (ACNA).
