Professor Meining utilizes the Exacto cold snare to complete the resection of multiple colon polyps. The EXACTO Cold Snare is designed explicitly for cold snare polypectomy procedures as it offers control for precise placement around the polyp and a clean cut. In the video, Professor Meining places the snare around the polyp before applying suction to ensure he has captured the entire polyp. Once removed, a polyp trap can assist in the retrieval. After removing the colon polyp, Professor Meining recommends pulling the snare close to the endoscope or within the endoscope channel while closing the snare to avoid losing the specimen.
