Training Acid Attack Survivors at JIBS

As a part of our community outreach initiative, we at Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences organized a training programme on "Enhancing Personal Effectiveness" for acid attack survivors across the country. The five-day on campus training aimed to provide a platform for the survivors to share their experiences and stories of resilience, hope, and courage as well as to train them on different psychological aspects like developing emotional intelligence, resilience and nurturing a good mental health. The training provided an excellent opportunity for both academics and students to learn about the challenges faced by acid attack survivors, understand their emotional and psychological needs, and discuss ways to support them in their journey towards healing and recovery.
