Four Grandstream Lines: Configuring Outbound and Inbound Calls for Each Line To configure four analog lines on a Grandstream UCM (such as UCM6302A) and control both outbound calls (specifying which line is used) and inbound calls (directing calls from each line to specific extensions), follow these steps: 1. Connect the Analog Lines Connect the four analog phone lines (PSTN) to the FXO ports on your Grandstream UCM or FXO Gateway (e.g., GXW4104). 2. Access the Web Interface Enter the IP address of the UCM in a web browser and log in using your admin credentials. 3. Create an Analog Trunk for Each Line Go to PBX Settings - Trunks. Click Create New Trunk and select Analog Trunk. Create a separate Analog Trunk for each FXO port (e.g., Line 1 for FXO1, Line 2 for FXO2). Name each trunk according to the corresponding line (e.g., "PSTN Line 1"). 4. Configure Outbound Routes for Each Line Go to Call Features - Outbound Routes. Create a separate Outbound Route for each line. In the route configuration: Select the corresponding Analog Trunk (e.g., "PSTN Line 1"). Use dial patterns to control which calls should use this line (e.g., calls starting with a specific prefix). This allows you to control which line is used for outbound calls. 5. Configure Inbound Routes for Each Line Go to Call Features - Inbound Routes. Create a separate Inbound Route for each Analog Trunk. For each route, select the extension or group that should receive calls from the specific line (e.g., Line 1 to Extension 1001, Line 2 to Extension 1002). This allows calls coming in on each line to be directed to specific users or departments. 6. Save and Apply Changes After configuring all trunks and routes, click Save and then Apply Changes to activate the settings. 7. Test the Setup Make test calls to ensure that outbound calls are using the correct line and inbound calls are being routed as intended.
