This is my first attempt at guitar improvisation to three different chords (clips) that play-back on my synth instrument inside BITWIG. Essentially, I play anything that comes into my head on my electric guitar accroding to the chord that's currently playing on the synth. When I feel like a change, I choose the next or previous chord to play along to. As yet, I have to take my right hand away from the guitar to hit the appropriate pad that selects the next clip I want to play. I will try and work out how to choose the next clip using a simple footswitch. You will notice plenty of b*m notes because I'm a beginner and I seem to have switched from a major to a minor chord in my chord progression - and obviously - I should change the notes on the guitar accordingly. However, since I play by ear, I don't know what any of the notes on the guitar will be when the chord changes, until I hear them (so I know that I play the "wrong" notes on the first beat of the new chord (mostly)). But, I think that's the whole point (maybe); I can practice "learning" the changes and, hopefully, make fewer glitches. Tell me in the comments whether you think it's a good idea (or not, lol)
