Welcome to the 1st International Summit for Smart Cities in North Africa

Al Akhawayn University president, Mr. Driss Ouaouicha, introduces the First International Summit of Smart Cities in North Africa which will be held on June 9th and 10th 2014 at Al Akhawayn University. He is pleased to welcome the speakers and all the participants of this event to exchange innovative ideas and to turn them into action to make North African cities better places to live in. He also talks about the key role that Al Akhawayn University is playing to make Ifrane a smart city. Le président de l'université Al Akhawayn, Dr. Driss Ouaouicha présente le Premier Sommet International des Villes Intelligentes en Afrique du Nord. Ce Sommet se tiendra au sein même de cette institution du 9 au 10 juin 2014. Le président de l'université enjoint les conférenciers et tous les participants à ce sommet à échanger leurs idées innovantes pour des actions concrètes pour les villes de la région nord-africaine. Il évoque aussi le rôle déterminant de l'université Al Akhawayn dans l'évolution d'Ifrane en ville intelligente.
