Tokyo Sakura Season Live 🌸 Walking through Ueno Sakura Festival, Akihabara and Asakusa in Tokyo Japan. Today I'm streaming outdoors from Tokyo, Japan! It's finally here — the famous Sakura (Cherry Blossom) season is beginning! 🌸 Although some early sakura start blooming in Japan and Tokyo as early as February, the main cherry blossom season begins over the next week. These are the iconic cherry blossoms you often see in movies, anime, and photos of Japan, and they mark the start of the new school and work year in Japan. Today is also the beginning of the Ueno Sakura Festival, one of Tokyo’s most famous hanami (cherry blossom viewing) festivals! The festival will run for about two weeks and attracts thousands of visitors who come to enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms. Today I'm exploring Tokyo to look for the best cherry blossom spots to take my friend who will be visiting next week. I invited her to come during sakura season, so I want to find some beautiful and fun places we can visit together. I'm really excited to see her again! It's also been a couple of weeks since I last did an IRL stream in Tokyo, so I'm really looking forward to walking around the city again.
