Maple Cream Doughnuts were my actual favourite doughnut to get from Tim Horton’s. This vegan maple cream doughnut recipe makes soft, puffy doughnuts filled with smooth maple pastry cream topped with a buttery brown sugar maple glaze. Deep fry them for the most scrumptious result. Check out the printable recipe for directions on how to bake or air-fry, as well as all the full ingredient amounts and instructions. Unfortunately, there is not a gluten-free version of this recipe. I have tried using Bob's Red Mill Gluten-free 1-to-1 baking flour and it produces...a sort of okay result. You don't need to knead, which is nice, but the final texture is much heavier and chewier.
