Drummers and drum enthusiasts, take note! This time I played with “the beast” Wim de Vries on drums — and wow. Among many highlights, he unleashed an incredible 8-minute drum solo (starting at 23:08 in the video). Wim is world-renowned from the drum duo The Drumbassadors, and this performance showed exactly why. Check it out! Bassist Taeke Stol also delivered a few gorgeous bowed solos reminiscent of the legendary Slam Stewart — warm, singing, and full of swing.
