Smith & Wesson SWBLOP3 Black Ops Folding Knife Review Over the past 2 weeks I've had a chance to test and review the Smith & Wesson SWBLOP3 Black Ops Folding Knife featuring their M.A.G.I.C opening system. Magic stands for Multipurpose Assisted Generational Innovative Cutlery which refers to a dual patented assisted opening mechanism that allows easy single handed opening of the blade. I found the system to work really well at deploying the blade smooth and quick. The knife is a drop point design and the blade is made out of 4034 stainless steel. The blade handle has a safety to keep the blade from deploying inadvertently. The overall length of the knife is 7 3/4 inches and is 4 1/4 when closed. The knife has a removable pocket clip and is tip down carry. Knife weight is 4.8 ounces.
