One of the most frequently asked questions I get is "how do you set up camp in the rain?" In the video show how I do it. Setting up in the rain is all about three things, 1) packing style. You have to have a plan and be prepared before it starts to rain. I use the same loading system as if every day it was going to rain. 2) Gear. You need to have gear that will accommodate setting up. I find that Packa coupled with any of my packs (they all have an outside pocket for my tarp) works perfect. 3) Practice. See what works when it doesn't count. I have worked on this system in the sun (as I am today) to make sure it works in the rain. I hope this helps.
