I am taking the the Bike to the Beach today. Leaving Bavaro over the highway in direction to Miches. Approx. 15-20 minutes and I am at the colorful Letters that spell MACAO. From here you can follow me and my GoPro down the road, thought the Village of Macao until we turn to right to go to the parking place that was created by the Hotel Dreams Macao Beach. They had to create a place for visitors of the Beach, because due to the Hotel occupying what used to be a public road. The Beach here is on the Atlantic side and has a lot of waves and a strong under current at times. It can be very dangerous. It the only Beach around here where you can actually Surf. We have two surf schools here Macao Surf Camp https://www.macaosurfcamp.com/ and Punta Cana Surf Adventure, https://puntacanasurfadventure.com/ check them out if you are interest in Surfing. I personally went with both and had a lot of fun! To escape the high waves and undertow you have to go to end of the Beach where the Fisher Boats are. Here the water is more calm. Punta Cana all you can see, at the Beach FOR YOU!
