In the summer of 2019, the National Youth Dance Company toured MADHEAD, a new production by the 2018-19 NYDC Guest Artistic Director and Olivier award winner Botis Seva. This specially commissioned short film, directed by Ben Williams, is inspired by the full-length theatre work.  MADHEAD saw 38 of the UK’s best young dancers fuse contemporary dance, physical theatre and hip-hop. Botis Seva’s choreographic style combined with the dancers’ energy and talent produces an enthralling and energetic piece.  A film by Ben Williams Choreographed by Botis Seva Assistants to the Choreographer – Jordan Douglas, Ezra Owen, Victoria Shulungu  Composer – Torben Lars Sylvest Costume Designer – Ryan Dawson-Laight  "Working with NYDC will forever be, one of my highlights as a maker.
