This is my video to show you how to wild camp like a pro and the sort of wild camping gear you will need to camp through all four seasons both safely and enjoyably. 4 season camping often involves camping in high winds, heavy rain and cold temperatures. If you have the right camping gear you can still enjoy hiking and camping all year round. This video is the final part of my wind camping for beginners series. I would highly recommend purchasing a proper 4 season tent and winter sleeping bag. Unfortunately, these are likely to come at a cost. My main four season camping gear consists of: Hilleberg Soulo tent - 4 season tent Rab Ascent 1100 sleeping bag - winter sleeping bag Mountain Equipment Aerostat Synthetic 7.0 sleeping mat - winter sleeping pad Visit my new Amazon Shop! https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/backpac... When camping in winter you need to be prepared for the worst so I would encourage you all to take lots of kit. Take lots of layers to make your hiking gear set up perfect for all conditions. There is no need to spend a fortune on hiking gear. There is lots of great budget hiking gear that is perfectly suitable for use all year round. Head down to Go Outdoors or Decathlon and get kitted out. My main winter hiking gear consists of: Salomon Quest hiking boots Mountain Equipment Lightline down jacket Various Rab and North Face fleeces Hestra gloves Merino wool base layers and socks Various hats of different thicknesses Always remember to take dry bags to ensure your gear is kept dry. Make sure you take good lights and chargers too. However, most importantly, remember to look at the weather forecast before you go and plan appropriately.
