Showing how I go about making a set of front tension pick tips for a disc detainer lock, in this case a magnificent Anchor Las. This is a great introduction to DD pick making as it is reasonably simple and does not require much in the way of materials or tooling, and no specialist skills such as silver soldering. It's also a great lock, and a good first step up from the basic and intermediate DD locks into higher security cores with many discs and false gates, but without the complexity of the Abloy locks. IMPORTANT: Always use eye protection when using power tools. A facemask and ear protection are a good idea too. As is general care and common sense.
