Over the past few weeks I've been slowly answering the question, 'What if i mounted a camera in a moving head light?' . This video was a ton of work with many late nights, over 40 hours of footage and plenty of setbacks, but it was worth it. With the end result being a practical and genuinly useful product. In future I may put a focus motor in it, but currently the autofocus is sufficent I want to thank my brother, Sam for the knowledge and help with the DMX stuff, I want to thank people who gave me the light and camera to play with, and I want to thank you for watching. Parts and tools used: Light: Robe ColorSpot 700E Camera: HXR-NX5P funduino uno r3 the dmx chip i used was a MAX485 DMX shield info: https://www.mathertel.de/Arduino/DMXS... (big thanks to Matthias Hertel for designing a shielded dmx shield for arduino) if you want to recreate this project yourself shoot me an email and I can share the project files with you (just keep in mind that half of the code is chatGPT) :)
