In this vlog, I take the sleeper bus from Bangkok to the north of Thailand - Chiang Mai and dive straight into my first day of this mountainous city. Exploring the mix of food and culture and having a great time! You can't go to this city and not try Khao Soi, the rich and creamy Northern Thai noodle curry that is honestly one of my favourite Thai foods! I also visit the local North Gate Night Market, trying the famous Cowboy Hat Lady's stewed pork on rice, as featured in Anthony Bourdain's show. I wrapped up the day by taking the red truck (songthaew) without any knowledge of how to, to visit Tha Phae Gate, ending the night by soaking in the Old City's vibes and appreciating the peaceful city.
