Social activist Swami Agnivesh was punched, kicked and verbally abused by a mob outside a hotel in Jharkhand. The social activist alleged that he was thrashed by the BJP Yuva Morcha workers. Swami Agnivesh, was attending an event there. He was attacked by a mob as soon as he came out of his hotel. Where the alleged BJP workers were chanting "Jai Sri Ram" after they attacked the 80-year-old activist. So where do these attackers get such audacity? Swami Agnivesh who is a national figure and a former Haryana minister, if he can be assaulted in this manner then all the politicians cum social workers are in grave danger. Many Indians took to social media to highlight such intolerant behaviour towards the minorities in the country under the present ruling government. With the daily cases of mob lynching reported in our country, the Centre has not taken the necessary step which was expected from a responsible democratic government. Sadly the bhartiya Janta party has truly failed to create an example of its seriousness towards the lynching cases throughout our country.
