How To Install The Waterdrop G2 Under Sink Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System In this video I show you how to install the Waterdrop G2 under sink reverse osmosis water filtration system. The process took a few hours, but was definitely doable on a Saturday, or a weekday evening, if you have a few hours to spare. I was a bit intimidated at first when I saw I would need to drill a hole in my quartz countertop, but after reviewing the instructions and some other videos on how to do it and the tools needed, I felt confident I could do it myself. In this video, I show you how I did it, and the tools needed. You can also view the links below. The process took much longer than what it says in the Amazon listing for the Waterdrop RO filter, which says it's a 30 min install. But, I still highly recommend doing it yourself, following the steps I show you here in the video. You can totally do it! This has been a total game changer for my family and me. The filtered water tastes GREAT and it's so easy to be able to fill up our water bottles with clean, filtered water, right from the kitchen. It's super convenient! For fifteen years we were getting fifteen gallons of filtered water by filling up five gallon water jugs at the grocery store from the reverse osmosis (RO) water filter machines. We were paying about seven dollars each time, every two weeks or so. Plus, we had to lift them out of the car and carry them into the house. We did this as we HATE the taste of the chlorinated tap water from our kitchen faucet, and the fridge filtered water wasn't great either.
