In this video we pay a visit to the Lathalmond Railway Museum / Shed 47 Railway Restoration Group in Scotland. This railway has both a short standard gauge & narrow gauge line and we take a ride on both of them in this video. This railway used to be a MOD (Military Of Defence) line which was in use until 1971. It is located on a former Royal Naval Store Depot site. As well as the railway the site is also home to the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum. The traction working the train rides on the standard gauge line is Ex MOD Hunslet shunter number 9045 built in 1981. This loco never operated with British Railways but she has been painted into a lovely BR Green livery she has been numbered D2650 and named City Of Dunfermline. Traction on the narrow gauge line is a 0-4-0ST Steam Loco named Big Dave built in 2021. / shed47rrg
