In this video, we will use @OpenAI ChatGPT to build a complete inventory management system and an inventory dashboard by using Google sheets and apps script. We will start by setting up the data structure in Google sheets, defining named ranges, and creating an apps script project. The Google sheet will act as a database, where we will save data from our inventory management application via apps script. Then we will create a navigation template for our inventory management web application. The navigation template will contain multiple pages or modules, and each of these pages will have different features. For example, on the inventory page, we will build the functionality to configure inventory types, categories, subcategories, and add inventory items. Finally, we will use ChatGPT to build different modules of our inventory system. For example, inventory module, customers, module and suppliers module. This tutorial is divided into two (2) parts. And this is part 1 of the series where we will focus on building the core structure and main modules. In part 2 of this tutorial, we will build the remaining modules together with the inventory dashboard. Overall, this will be a fully featured, automated inventory management web app with advanced level functionalities.
