Gov. Josh Stein and emergency management officials are discussing snowstorm preparations and conditions statewide. Charlotte is gearing up for another winter storm that could bring the most snow to the Queen City since Jan. 17, 2018. This was the last time the Charlotte area received over 3 inches of snow (the total on this date was 3.9 inches). In recent memory, we had two measurable snow events in January 2022: 2.2 inches on Jan. 16 and 1.9 inches on Jan. 21. Our WCNC Charlotte Weather Impact Team calls for 3-6 inches of snow in their latest forecast, with higher accumulations further east. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the Charlotte area until Sunday. Counties under the Winter Storm Watch include Alexander, Anson, Burke, Cabarrus, Caldwell, Catawba, Chester, Chesterfield, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lancaster, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Richmond, Rowan, Stanly, Union, and York. #News #Weather #Snow READ MORE: https://www.wcnc.com/article/weather/...
