CHEAP TO BUY and EASY TO FLY !!! SYMA S109G AH-64 APACHE ATTACK HELICOPTER: ESSENTIAL RC FLIGHT TEST Please support 'Essential RC' by using the affiliate links below... AVAILABLE HERE: https://bit.ly/symaS109GAH64ApacheHeli OR TRY THE COASTGUARD HELICOPTER HERE: https://bit.ly/symaS111GCoastguardRes... Insert the provided 6 x AA batteries into the transmitter, charge up the helicopter with the provided USB lead and you are ready to fly the S109G RC Helicopter. It bears a strong resemblance to the AH-64 Apache Attack helicopter and there are 2 bright LEDs that would look good in a dark environment. The throttle stick on the left is used to control altitude. It is sensitive but a reasonable, if not perfect, hover can be maintained. Any drift in the yaw axis can be cancelled out with the trim dial between the 2 sticks. Use the stick on the right for yaw rotation and forwards and backwards movement. We were impressed with the control precision of this little helicopter but we did fly it indoors, so no wind to deal with. Outside we suspect this would only cope with the mildest of breezes. This RC helicopter is controlled via infra-red so it will not work well in bright sun light. The range from the transmitter will be reduced to just a few feet. Indoors the flight time was quite impressive. Well over 10 minutes on a single charge of covering around and moving around the room, landing and taking off. Note that the back of the transmitter has a small compartment that is opened by a sliding panel that contains a recharge lead for the helicopter should you want to charge it while away from a power source with a USB connection. We did not try this but suspect it may be a little slower charging the pack but a good option nonetheless when out and about.
