Heat over medium heat until the butter melts and the water starts to simmer. 2️⃣Add Flour – Once the water mixture is simmering, add sifted flour and baking powder all at once. Stir continuously for 1 minute until the dough comes together and no longer sticks to the pan. 3️⃣Cool the Dough – Transfer the dough to a bowl and stir gently for 10 minutes to let it cool slightly. 4️⃣Incorporate Eggs – Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until the dough becomes smooth and slightly sticky. You can use a hand mixer for easier mixing. 5️⃣Prepare for Frying – Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a star-shaped nozzle. 6️⃣Pipe into Cold Oil – Pipe the Bamieh dough directly into a pot filled with cold oil, cutting it into bite-sized pieces. 7️⃣Fry the Bamieh – Place the pot on low to medium heat and let the Bamieh slowly cook until golden. Cover and let it rest for 2 to 4 hours until bubbles appear. 2️⃣Add Flavors & Adjust Consistency – Stir in baking powder, rose water, and saffron water. The batter should be thick but pourable. If too thin, add 1 tsp flour; if too thick, add a little more yogurt. 3️⃣Transfer to a Squeeze Bottle – Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle (like a sauce bottle). It should flow smoothly with slight pressure. 4️⃣Heat the Oil – Fill a small pan with oil and heat it well.
