E.g Running, reading, playing i.e all hobbies and habits. Infinitives. Simply put as, a verb that functions as a noun, adjective, or adverb. Used to express a purpose, opinion, an action, or answer the questions why, what and who. Also refers to a future action. Form, to + verb Can be used as subject and object of a verb. #englishacked E.g To learn, to smoke, to close etc --------- 1. STOP ------- Stop + Gerund. (finish/end/over/cease) | Tip, Gerund is the first action then the verb stop.
