This is a Motormouth couple car review of the new 2025 Chevrolet Suburban 3-row, full-size, body-on-frame SUV. This 2025 Chevrolet Suburban SUV gets all the same updates as the 2025 Tahoe but it’s bigger 15” longer providing you with excellent cargo space behind the third row at 144.6 cubic feet which is bigger than one of its competitors the Ford Expedition Max. Both the Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevrolet Suburban seat 7-9 passengers depending on the configuration and model you go with. The base model has an available front row bench seat if you need that extra space. There are three 2025 Chevrolet Suburban engine choices all paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission 2WD and 4WD options. The new second generation 3L in-line six turbo diesel with 10% more horsepower and 7.6” of torque than the previous diesel engine 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque. It’s offered on all trims including the Z71 for the first time. The base 2025 Chevrolet Suburban engine is a 5.3L V8 with 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque and a 6.2L V8 with 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque which is standard on High Country. You can add a performance package to the 2025 Chevrolet Suburban RST model for even more power from the 6.2L V8, it gets 433 horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque. We are driving the 2025 Chevrolet Suburban High Country model with a beautiful brown, leather interior with a standard 17.7” touchscreen with Google built-in and an 11” digital driver display. The interior feels very upscale and sophisticated on this model. The 2025 Chevrolet Suburban Suburban can tow 8200 pounds.
