Electricity Meter : GEC C11B3A-H kWh meter.

For this video, we get a look at a very recently made electricity meter: The GEC C11B3A-H. Please look below for more...... Characteristics: 240v, 50Hz, 20-80A, single phase two wire. 200 revs=kWh. Unfortunately, this one hasn't been obtained straight from service, as it can be seen that someone has opened the case in order to scratch-out the previous owner on the specification plate. As stated on the specification plate, (and the sticky label on the front-case) this meter was first calibrated and put into service in 1995. ------------------------------------------------------------- Click here to see this meter's Accuracy Test:    • Accuracy Test : GEC C11B3A-H kWh meter.   ------------------------------------------------------------ This instrument is one of a small number in my collection which has an anti-reverse device fitted. On these instruments, the anti-reverse device is denoted by a suffix on the end of the model number. In this case, it is a 'H' at the end of the model number. Different manufacturers use different suffixes, and in the case of Ferranti and their F2K range, it's a number 9. I cannot remember resetting this one to zero, so maybe that was the reading on it when I obtained it. Afterall, someone else has already been in there and altered the specification plate!
