Uma Scheffer Jones es DJ y productora nacida en la Patagonia Argentina, actualmente radicada en la Ciudad de Córdoba. Su desarrollo artístico gira en torno al techno como lenguaje sonoro y cultural, explorando vertientes hipnóticas, mentales y grooveras desde una identidad propia y cuidadosamente construida. Es residente de TerraFuria y Session 909, y fundadora de Rather Modular, colectivo y serie de podcast. Su estilo de mezcla, preciso y contundente, construye entornos mentales inmersivos donde la repetición, las texturas y el groove generan atmósferas coherentes y profundas. Su identidad sonora se mueve entre lo hipnótico y lo físico, dando forma a estructuras rítmicas densas y envolventes. Cada transición está calibrada para sostener la tensión, el flujo y la profundidad emocional, priorizando la estructura, el control de la energía y una relación funcional con la pista. A lo largo de su recorrido ha compartido cabina con artistas como DVS1, Richie Hawtin, Ellen Allien, Rebekah, Rødhåd, SPFDJ, Marrøn, Nastia, FJAAK, Matrixxman, Dasha Rush, Regal, Adiel, Phara, Anna y Anfisa Letyago, entre otros. Se ha presentado en clubes y venues destacados de Argentina como Boiler Room x HEISS, Under Club, Crobar, Dahaus Forja, TerraFuria, La Estación y La Fábrica, y ha girado internacionalmente por Ámsterdam, España, Italia, Paraguay y Santiago de Chile. Como productora, editó lanzamientos y remixes en sellos como Ri7mo, Xelima Records, Wangan Records, COEV, Drama BCN, TZUNAMI, Re:flect, GFS, 01366, Under Club Records, 3DR y Concreto. Actualmente se encuentra trabajando en un nuevo EP y en colaboraciones. ENGLISH BIO Uma Scheffer Jones is an Argentine DJ and producer born in Patagonia, currently based in the city of Córdoba. Her artistic development revolves around techno as both a sonic and cultural language, exploring hypnotic, mental and groovy facets through a personal and carefully crafted identity. She is a resident at TerraFuria and Session 909, and the founder of Rather Modular, a collective and podcast series. Her precise and powerful mixing style builds immersive mental environments where repetition, textures and groove generate coherent and deep atmospheres. Her sonic identity moves between the hypnotic and the physical, shaping dense and enveloping rhythmic structures. Each transition is calibrated to sustain tension, flow and emotional depth, prioritizing structure, energy control and a functional relationship with the dancefloor. Throughout her journey, she has shared the booth with artists such as DVS1, Richie Hawtin, Ellen Allien, Rebekah, Rødhåd, SPFDJ, Marrøn, Nastia, FJAAK, Matrixxman, Dasha Rush, Regal, Adiel, Phara, Anna and Anfisa Letyago, among others. She has performed at renowned clubs and venues across Argentina, including Boiler Room x HEISS, Under Club, Crobar, Dahaus Forja, TerraFuria, La Estación and La Fábrica, and has toured internationally in Amsterdam, Spain, Italy, Paraguay and Santiago de Chile.
