After a lot of work, I've finished the restoration on this beautiful Belgian made antique frigid desk fan! If you remember, this fan originally was in extremely bad shape with missing parts. I got this back at early september 2025. It was missing a lot of parts that were needed for it to be in functional condition. It was very cheap on a listing, 15 euros so I just went for it since I didn't have the VA1 10" model in my collection. A while ago another frigid VA1 popped up which was also in rough shape, but it had ALL PARTS so I bought it to use for parts to make this one perfect again! Now the other one will be cleaned up and sold as restoration/display piece. They are truly powerful fans too. The fan before restoration:    • 1920s' Antique frigid type VA1 10" desk fa...   The other frigid VA1 that was used for parts:    • Antique 1920s' very rough shape frigid VA1...   Brand: Frigid, made in Belgium circa 1920s' Type VA1, 10" 2 speed non-oscillating. Motor with carbon brushes. Blades, cage, oilers and tag are brass. The base is a solid cast iron. 220V These were made in both 110 and 220 volt versions.
