Dr. Dhillon is fellowship trained in Hematology and Medical Oncology. He received Hematology & Oncology fellowship training at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia. During the final year of his training, he served as Chief Fellow, and Instructor for Drexel University medical students. Dr. Dhillon is board-certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Dhillon received his medical degree from Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana, India. Subsequently, he completed internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center program in Paterson, NJ. After finishing residency, and prior to starting fellowship training, he worked as Clinical Instructor in Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Dhillon’s clinical interests include a broad spectrum of disorders including solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and benign hematologic disorders. His special interests include Pancreatic cancer, Breast cancer, Myeloma, Lymphoma, gastrointestinal malignancies, prostate cancer, and lung cancer. Dr. Dhillon also specializes in treatment of blood disorders. Dr. Dhillon has participated in a number of research projects. He has presented his work at national meetings, and published in journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine. Dr. Dhillon is an advocate of collaborative and patient-centered cancer care that delivers effective treatment while maintaining quality of life.
