In this video, I take you on the most EPIC 72-hour adventure across East Java, Indonesia — and show you exactly why this country stole my heart. The journey begins in the city of Malang, where I hit the road and head deep into the jungle to find one of the most jaw-dropping waterfalls on the planet — Tumpak Sewu, a monstrous curtain of water crashing into a lush, green canyon. Nicknamed the “Thousand Waterfalls." From there, I head to Mount Bromo, just in time for a sunrise that looks like it belongs on another planet. One of the most beautiful sunrises on planet Earth. But the final challenge is the most intense: a night hike up the otherworldly Mount Ijen. Armed with gas masks and headlamps, I trek into the darkness to witness the rare and haunting blue flames — a natural phenomenon caused by ignited sulphuric gas. As the sun rises, it reveals the surreal Kawah Ijen, home to the largest acidic crater lake in the world, glowing an eerie turquoise. This is East Java like you’ve never seen it. This isn’t just a trip — it’s a full-on cinematic travel experience, packed with natural wonders, raw adventure, and unreal landscapes that feel straight out of a movie.
