While his involvement in a Superman movie is far from a done deal, Weintraub did ask if he were to direct a Superman movie, what would his vision entail. Warner Bros. has released the first look and teaser for their upcoming reboot of Tomb Raider. Directed by The Wave’s Roar Uthaug, the video game adaptation tells the origin story of Lara Croft, with Oscar-winning The Danish Girl actress Alicia Vikander taking on the lead role. The new movie will see Lara Croft as a 21-year-old bike courier in East London refusing to follow in her father’s footsteps. But when he disappears, Croft leaves behind her old life and goes in search of his last-known whereabouts: a fabled tomb on a mythical island off the coast of Japan. OPENING THIS WEEK BUY OR SELL Josh Brolin took to his Instagram account yesterday to reveal a new image of his character Cable from the upcoming Deadpool 2. The black-and-white photo shows a bloody Cable screaming into a broken mirror, which teases a more intense character that will be appearing alongside the raunchy, merc with a mouth in Wade Wilson’s Deadpool. Open Road Films have released the first trailer for All I See Is You, the new thriller from World War Z director Marc Forster that stars Blake Lively and Jason Clarke. The movie follows Gina (played by Lively), a happily married woman who undergoes a complex medical procedure that corrects her years-long blindness that occurred after a childhood car accident.
