This was a half-day horse ride starting at the Lajitas Stables around Contrabando Mesa near the Rio Grande and Big Bend Ranch State Park. This was Magellan's second horse ride and he fancies himself no more experienced than the first a week earlier. This is one of the many worthwhile activities you can do while outside of Big Bend National Park and we highly recommend it. We used Big Bend Stables as our guides.
