This week on the farm we’re sharing a rain update after last week’s forecast had us wondering how much we’d actually get. I’ll show you how much rain ended up in the gauge and where our rainfall sits for the year compared to last season. We’re also starting to prepare for lambing season, which means plenty of jobs around the farm. We hook up the tractor and take straw bales out to 22 paddocks, clean out troughs, and get things ready before we split the mob of ewes into smaller lambing mobs next week. We also top up the ewes with loose lick from Farmer Rod’s livestock nutrition and check in on the progress of the fencing repairs after the fire. During this video I also chat with Farmer Rod and Farmer Paul about something we believe is really important in agriculture; continuing to learn and up-skill as farmers. Farming is always evolving, and investing in knowledge can make a huge difference to how a business grows and adapts. Thanks for following along with life on our farm here in South Australia. Be Wildly You, Steph
